  1. Castel vs Castle: Which is the correct spelling? This age-old question has been a topic of debate for many years. While both words have similar meanings, there is a slight difference between the two. Let’s dive into the details and explore the difference between castel and castle.

The proper word is “castle.” Castel is not an English word, but rather the French or Italian spelling of the word castle. Castle is a noun that refers to a large building or group of buildings fortified against attack with thick walls, battlements, towers, and in many cases a moat. Castles were typically used as a defensive structure in medieval times, but today they are often used as tourist attractions or historical landmarks.
